Richard hosted the British Navy and some Marines too for a celebration in St. Augustine. After "taking" the fort, they returned to dry land and ate and danced the afternoon away at a party on the grounds of the St. Augustine Marina.
Richard was honored as the first major donor to the Bird Island Park on October 12, 2010.
Admiral Romero is the Spanish Military Atache' to the United States. Richard hosted the Admiral and his wife at Picalata Farms and then a brunch at the Markland house in St. Augustine.
Richard arrived at Timberline Creek on the Shands Trauma One Helicopter and read Danny & Goliath to several classes and then to the entire school.
